Temperature estimation

    • Example: Based on North India average temperaturesin summer with 50% humidity. Dry bulb (D/B) = 44°C Wet bulb (W/B) = 34°C

    • We have to calculate the difference between D/B and the W/B 44°C-34°C = 10°C (Temperature Difference) Cooling padsaturation efficiency is around 70% 10°C (Temperature Difference) x 70% (Saturation Efficiency) = 7°C Outside temperature 44°C –7°C= 37°C Inside Temperature

  • PLUS WITHTHE WIND CHILL EFFECT -HUMAN BEINGS WILL FEEL ADDITIONAL TEMPERATURE DROP OF 1-2°C .
